Salmon Creek provides habitat for several state and/or federally listed threatened species including the red-legged frog, steelhead trout, and California freshwater shrimp. This task group of parents, community members, and staff help maintain the creek’s riparian zone, as well as the grassland, wetland, and redwood forest eco-systems on campus. Group goals include: increasing wildlife habitat; reducing invasive non-natives; monitoring restoration sites; developing a sustainable forestry plan; and maintaining trails.
